I’m Isaac Rumohr, thank you for taking the time to look over some of my work.
I’m a graphic designer currently working out of the Sierra Nevada mountains in California. I’m an alumni of Westmont College, with my degree in philosophy and minors in studio art and economics and business. I’ve worked the past few years as a freelance graphic designer and, until recently, as the first general manager for Clouds Rest Coffee, a specialty coffee shop.
During my time with Clouds Rest I was privileged to guide the business through a full rebrand that I designed and executed; in addition to planning and implementing events, seasonal campaigns, retail design, and social media, and pulling some damn good espresso. Serving in leadership at Clouds Rest fed a personal interest in further developing myself as a creative leader. My current long-term goal is to meld my loves for business leadership and design in a role as a creative director.
I have training as a fine artist, with a particular love for detailed drawings in pen and ink. My art is mostly personal these days, but informs my love for traditional media and methodology. I am always looking to anchor my design work in time-tested techniques.
Speaking of time-tested, the enduring art of film photography is a growing love of mine. While I am experienced in digital photography, film is my preferred medium for my personal projects.
I am inspired by the mountains I live in and the trail running, mountaineering, skiing, and myriad other means by which I move through them. I am also a beginner ultrarunner; and with a few 50k races under my belt, I am excited to see how much farther I can go.
If you liked what you saw here and you’re interested in working together, I’m currently accepting project proposals. I would love to hear about your idea. Say hello here, or at isaac@fellfield.us
