True Hero Ministries has only existed since 2023, but the work they do has been underway for much longer as an outflow of the life of its founders, the Trujillo family. Although the Trujillos had thoroughly defined the character of their nonprofit, they lacked a visual identity. Their logo needed to be timeless, and capable of covering the wide range of operations True Hero Ministries eventually hopes to include, while also incorporating the Trujillo’s current aesthetic. The logo we designed together references the origins of branding itself on ranches, and translates their values and ambition into visual language.

Moodboard
The Trujillos had a lot of inspiration for True Hero Ministries. Creating a moodboard went a long way to start linking their ideas to color and images, and create a target environment for their branding to be at home in.
