Calvin Crest has been operating camps since 1954 in the Sierra National Forest near where I grew up. As the camping industry navigates new challenges and changes, they have worked hard to update their branding and marketing for a new generation of campers.

I was happy to help translate that process to the camp’s merchandise through a couple of projects, including a tote bag and a t-shirt representing their outdoor school. Both projects involved creatively integrating Calvin Crest’s natural setting with its brand, drawing on the familiarity its loyal community has with the features of its beautiful campus.

Tote Bag
This tote bag features hand-drawn illustrations of seasonal wildflowers commonly found around Calvin Crest’s campus. It serves dual purposes: educating campers on the names of local flora, and linking Calvin Crest’s brand to the natural beauty of its setting.
